Terms of Use
Version 1 · Effective date: 11 October 2026
These terms govern the use of the Quarified QR menu and table ordering service (the "Service") provided by Quarified Ltd ("we"). They address two groups: restaurants that use the Service, with their staff, and guests who use a restaurant's QR menu.
1. Parties and definitions
- Service provider: Quarified Ltd
- Email: {{PLACEHOLDER: contact_email}}
- Restaurant: a business that signs a service agreement with us to use the Service.
- Staff: the waiters and managers a restaurant allows to sign in to the panel.
- Guest: a person who uses the menu by scanning the QR code on a restaurant table.
2. Service agreement and precedence
Restaurants also sign a written service agreement and a data processing agreement with us. The scope of the Service is set in those agreements.
If these terms conflict with a signed service agreement or data processing agreement, the signed agreement prevails.
3. What the Service includes
The Service covers the menu opened by table-specific QR codes, ordering by guests from the table, approval of orders by staff, the kitchen screen, waiter calls and bill requests, menu and team management, and reports. The Service is used through a web browser.
4. Fees
The fee for the Service is agreed with each restaurant individually and written into the service agreement. An agreed fee is not increased unless the parties make a new agreement. Payment terms are set out in the service agreement.
5. Term and termination
The term of the service agreement, how it can be terminated, and how the restaurant’s data is handed back and deleted when it ends, are set in the service agreement signed with each restaurant.
6. The restaurant’s responsibilities
The restaurant is responsible for:
- dish names, descriptions, photos and prices on the menu being accurate and up to date;
- providing the information the law requires on a menu, including allergen, calorie and ingredient information;
- issuing the legally required documents for orders and payments (bills, cash register receipts, invoices and the like) and meeting its tax obligations;
- staff checking and approving orders before they go to the kitchen;
- staff accounts being used only by authorised people, passwords being kept secret, and the accounts of staff who leave being closed;
- renewing table QR codes in the panel when they are lost or photographed;
- meeting its obligations as data controller for guest and staff data, including informing guests.
7. Unacceptable use
The Service may not be used for:
- any unlawful purpose;
- trying to access another restaurant’s or person’s data;
- unauthorised security testing, scanning or overloading the Service;
- sending fake orders, waiter calls or reviews.
The consequences of unacceptable use are set in the service agreement. Where the security of the Service or of other restaurants is at risk, we may temporarily suspend the access concerned.
8. For guests
You do not need an account to use the QR menu. The dishes, prices and ingredient information on the menu are entered by the restaurant and are the restaurant’s responsibility.
Your order is prepared once restaurant staff approve it. You pay the restaurant directly at the table; for anything about your order, service or payment, the restaurant is the party to contact.
Use a table’s QR code only to order and call a waiter while you are sitting at that table.
9. Support
Support for restaurants is provided by email on weekdays, 09:00-17:00 Turkey time: {{PLACEHOLDER: contact_email}}.
Any commitment about the availability of the Service is set out in the service agreement.
10. Intellectual property and restaurant content
The Quarified name and brand belong to Quarified Ltd. The restaurant’s menu, photos and other content belong to the restaurant; we use them only to provide the Service.
11. Liability
The parties’ liability to each other, and its limits, are set in the service agreement signed with each restaurant. Mandatory provisions of Turkish law remain unaffected.
12. Personal data
Information about the personal data we process on our own behalf is in the Privacy Notice; the cookies and local storage used on your device are described in the Cookie and Local Storage Policy.
For guests’ order, waiter call and review data, the restaurant is the data controller; we process that data on the restaurant’s behalf and on its instructions, as a processor.
13. Changes
When we update these terms, we publish the new version on this page with its version number and effective date.
If the Turkish and English versions of this text differ, the Turkish version prevails.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of {{PLACEHOLDER: competent_courts_city}} have jurisdiction over disputes. The statutory rights of guests who are consumers remain unaffected.
